So you clicked "About." Either you're curious who's behind this blog, or you're procrastinating from fixing the actual problem you came here for. Both are welcome. Grab a chai — this is the one page where I'm allowed to ramble.
The origin story (no radioactive spider involved)
Hi, I'm Logeshwaran. Back in 2015 I started a scrappy little blog called Windowsexploredforu.blogspot.com — yes, that's a real name I chose voluntarily, and yes, I've been paying for that decision ever since. I was just a person who liked poking around Windows, finding hidden settings and fixes, and writing them down so the next person wouldn't have to suffer the way I did.
It ran on one belief that hasn't changed since day one: knowledge should be free. The internet gave me everything I know — for free. This blog is me paying that debt back, one tutorial at a time.
Somewhere along the way, the hobby got completely out of hand. The blogspot became logeshwaran.org, the Windows tips grew into Linux deep-dives, and today this site is read by thousands of people every single day — from India, the US, Russia, China, and places I'd honestly need to Google Maps. More than a decade and nearly a thousand articles later, it's still the same person writing. Still in my free time. Still because I genuinely enjoy it. May be in feature i will ask our team to write.
What you'll find here
I write about what I actually use and — more importantly — what I actually break and a bit about finance (because financial knowledge is very important for upcoming and today's generation):
- Windows 10 & 11 — hidden settings, error-code fixes, performance tuning, and the features Microsoft forgot to tell you about. If it can throw a cryptic error, I've probably stared at it at 1 AM.
- Kali Linux & cybersecurity 🐉 — installation guides, release breakdowns, troubleshooting, and the security concepts behind the tools. Start with the Kali Linux section or jump to the latest release guide.
- Security & privacy — practical protection for everyday users, no hoodie required. Browse Security and Privacy — or read our privacy policy, which I genuinely tried to make worth reading.
- AI & cloud — running AI models locally, AWS learning series, and honest takes on new tools. Check the search page or the topics in the sidebar.
- Tech news that matters — releases, updates, and the occasional current-affairs piece, minus the clickbait panic.
You get the fix; I keep the emotional damage. That's the arrangement.
How I write (and why you can trust it)
Every guide here follows the same boring, unglamorous process: I try it on a real machine first. If a fix doesn't work, it doesn't get published — the internet has enough copy-pasted "solutions" written by people who never opened the Settings app they're describing. When I reference news or other sources, I cross-check more than one. And when readers point out a mistake (it happens!), I fix the post instead of pretending it never happened.
I test what I publish, but every machine is its own strange animal — so back up your stuff before making big changes. (You were going to skip the backup, weren't you? Don't. This is the one instruction people ignore, and it's always the one that bites.)
Why my posts are short
Because your time matters. If the fix is four steps, you get four steps — not a 3,000-word life story about my grandmother's kitchen before the recipe. When a topic truly needs depth (or I'm writing for readers who are brand new to all this), I go long and explain everything patiently. Otherwise: in, fixed, out. Go enjoy your day; your computer works now.
Frequently asked questions
Are you certified by Microsoft? Is this sponsored?
No and no. This blog is not sponsored, endorsed, or certified by Microsoft, Google, or anyone else. It has been referenced by folks on Microsoft Azure forums and other platforms though — which still makes me smile at my desk like an idiot. Every recommendation here is just my honest opinion after actually using the thing.
Why are there ads?
Because servers, domains, and chai aren't free. Ads (via Google AdSense) are what let nearly a thousand articles stay free for everyone instead of sitting behind a paywall. What data that involves is explained honestly in the privacy policy.
Do you own the trademarks you write about?
Nope. Windows, Chrome, OneDrive, Kali and friends belong to their respective companies. I just write about them.
Is any of this professional advice?
All content is for educational and informational purposes only. I share what worked for me; always do your own research before making big changes to systems you care about.
Where to find me
Readers kept asking for more ways to connect, so over the years this happened:
- YouTube: youtube.com/c/logeshwaranlw — a small but lovely family of 2K+ subscribers, born because readers literally asked for videos
- Bluesky: @logeshwaranorg.bsky.social
- Email: contactme@logeshwaran.org — suggestions, corrections, business, or just to say hi. I read everything, even if replies sometimes take a day or two.
And seriously — if you spot a mistake in a post, tell me. Reader corrections have made this blog better for over a decade. You won't hurt my feelings; wrong information on the internet hurts them much more.
Content removal / DMCA
I refer to multiple sources when covering tech news and current-affairs topics, and I take credit seriously. If you believe something here infringes your copyright or trademark, or was wrongly attributed, email contactme@logeshwaran.org with the details and links to both the post and your original. I'll review and act on it — usually quickly, always politely. No lawyers needed; a polite email works every time.
About me, the actual human
I'm from India — a country overflowing with talent and diversity — and I admire people for their skills and spirit, wherever they're from, whatever their background. I believe in learning something new every day, whether it comes from a fellow blogger, a reader's comment, or a random stranger who knows something I don't.
Beyond that? Sorry, I'm a closed book. My life has its ups and downs like everyone's; I'd just rather spend our time together fixing your PC than talking about mine. If I ever started properly writing about myself, it would take fifty pages, and we both have better things to do.
"If everyone decided to keep the useful things they discovered to themselves, we might never have learned how to survive — or what treatment to apply for that particular illness."
That quote is the entire business plan of this website. There isn't another one.
A small confession: some older posts here have aged like milk, not wine — I know. I tried making AI rewrite them, but it kept producing confident nonsense, so I've rolled up my sleeves and started fixing them the old-fashioned way: one post at a time. Please bear with me — the time will never be right, I know, but it has to be made right. And I'm on it.
Thanks for stopping by — genuinely. Now go fix that thing you came here for. :)
