Though Microsoft had released Windows 10 Creators update for global users in the form of ISO,there were many problems that continue to arrive with Creators update. One of those problem happens with Toshiba and Intel devices mainly because of the drivers.
In a post published on Microsoft site, Microsoft said,
So, the problem is Toshiba display utility, right ? then why we are wasting time, just uninstall it and enjoy the new update..
In a post published on Microsoft site, Microsoft said,
The Toshiba Display Utility is currently not supported on Windows 10 Creators Update. If you have this app installed on your device, you will not receive the update and will be prevented from installing the Creators Update.Even if you decided to upgrade using Media creation tool, then you will be Prevented to do so until you uninstall the Toshiba display utility from your PC..
So, the problem is Toshiba display utility, right ? then why we are wasting time, just uninstall it and enjoy the new update..
How to uninstall Toshiba display utility to get Windows 10 Creators update
1) Press Windows (logo) Key and R Keys of your Keyboard.
2) Type devmgmt.msc
3) Hit Enter key.
4) It will open device Manager, on that find and click on and expand Display Adapters option.
4) It will display the driver that was installed on your device. If your device has this "Toshiba
Display driver then it will be displayed on that list, if it was displayed. then
5) Right click on it, it will display Update driver software, Disable, Uninstall,etc..
6) Click on Uninstall.
If it asks for confirmation, click yes.! and Follow the onscreen instructions (if any!)
If it was not displayed then, makesure it was displayed on Add or remove Program feature of your
Control panel or uninstall section of settings, you can get there by pressing windows (logo) Key ->
type uninstall -> Add or remove program.
If Toshiba display utility was displayed there, then select it and click uninstall option.
That's it..
Don't forget to restart your PC before checking for update buddy.!
