[Beware] Start menu won't show installed apps apart from Store Apps in Windows 10 Creators update

[Beware] Start menu won't show installed apps apart from Store Apps in Windows 10 Creators update

If you had planned to install Windows 10 Creators update, then you are good to go, but
here is the problem that was experienced personally by me. After installing the update,
everything works fine. But when i searched for an application using the start menu in this
creators update, then it goes no avail. All the apps installed on my PC are still there and are
showing in Programs and Features, Apps section, and even in Start menu.

But When i searched for an particular app then it won't display the search results that were installed by me not from store.

All the store apps that comes with windows 10, are shown when i searched. But this apps

that were installed by me, are not visible/displayed by start menu.

My Start Menu lost all programs/ apps apart from Store Apps

I suspect the privacy things that was disabled by me, like "Let Windows track app launches
to improve start and search results " are causing the issues, as one of my friend said,
turning on that option and sign in using Microsoft account solved the problem but it doesn't
worked for me .

So, if you had planned to upgrade to Windows 10 Creators update then kindly make a note
on this bug..

How to fix startmenu not showing installed apps after installing Windows 10 Creators update

If you encountered this bug, then let me share you a secret simple solution that could work
Fireup your Powershell and type Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
command, hit enter.

Wait for sometime, it will fix.

And also, you can try another proven method,

Press Windows Key and type control panel -> On the search box type indexing -> click on Change how Windows Searches -> Click the Advanced Option ->you can see Rebuild option -> Click on that.

It will tell you like rebuild indexing will take long time to complete, click yes and wait for some time.

Enjoy.
