Just follow the steps below..
1) Open regedit.
2) Navigate to the following key..
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update\RequestedAppCategories\8b24b027-1dee-babb-9a95-3517dfb9c552
3) Right click on the 8b24b027-Idee-babb-9a95-3518dfb9c552
4) Select delete option.
5) A confirmation dialog, will appear asking you to select "yes" or "no", select yes.
6) Restart your PC.
7) Recheck for the updates..
It will work now..
