WhatsApp got a new update today, a lot of features were already on the WhatsApp, but
they are just interchanged or hidden. Most of the guys, around the world are now
complaining about contacts tab option and the contacts refresh option is missing on the
new updated status feature apk, and they are increasingly searching for a way to get
back.. So, in this post i like to show where you can find them on your whatsapp.
Just follow the below steps..
1) Open your WhatsApp
2) Click on the chats tab.
3) You will see message icon on the bottom right corner ...
4) Click on it..
5) Clicking on it will open Select contacts window ( Activity), wait this is where you can message to your contacts, but to refresh you need to do some more steps..
6) Click on the ⋮ icon
7) Select Refresh option
That's it..

Update : WhatsApp has reintroduced text status in the form of About option, for beta users, its working (you can see them when you click on the same message icon). So, if you want, signup for beta, else wait for some time.
