Windows 10 Insider preview 15014 is now available on fast ring for both PC and Mobile Insiders.
Last week Microsoft released a brand new features that mainly focused on Microsoft Edge,in the
build 15007 it has lot of issues that mainly irritates the user. This week Microsoft released a new
Build that have lot of features that focuses on User Interface with those issues fixed.
As we take a quick look of what's inside that build 15014..
Microsoft said, this build will feature a option that will allow the residents of US to purchase E-book
directly from Windows Store and we can read in it in Microsoft Edge.
Experimenting things..
They are experimenting with Cortana, to make it provide a lighter shade colored search box.
1. Cortana Notifications will now appear bigger and you can customize them with custom accent color
2. They are working on a feature that will make your Windows 10 automatically free up space of your PC
3, All WiFi settings like WiFi sense, Advanced WiFi settings were merged under WiFi. which can be accessed as Settings-> Network & Internet -> WiFi
4.Some of the devices will get new Power Slider feature that displays how much battery is present in
the taskbar.
But, now they had designed only the UI not the entire feature
5. Mail app will be Pinned to taskbar after upgrade, but if you unpin it will not appear again.
6. Apart from the above, they have fixed Ctrl + C Copy on Command Prompt, Catalan translation, Mirecast, etc,,
7. Now, Apps corner will be no longer available in/after this build.
Issues..
1. It has several issues like GSOD StorPort.sys bugcheck that will get back you to previous build automatically,
2. Microsoft still hadn't fixed the No audio, high cpu performance,etc issues that occured on 15007 build, they want you to follow the same procedure to fix it..
3. You will See "Some Settings are managed by Organization" even though you're not a part of any organization its a bug.
4. Tencent apps will crash.
5/ DOT 2 game willnot open staing "Unable to start game".
6. Some sites may display "We can't reach this page", if this error happens then relaunch edge.
7. You will See "Some Settings are managed by Organization" even though you're not a part of any organization its a bug.
